An update on Kayla

...Do you ever have those moments where you think, "I should have been born in a different era?" I know I do. Frequently. Sometimes, of course, the eras in mention surprise me. Just this morning, I was thinking, "I should have been born during the Great Depression." Which is not something one usually wishes. Usually, it's more like "whew, I sure dodged a bullet there!" But, upon moving home and having to clean my room (again) of all my stuff to make room for the new stuff, I've discovered that I am a pack rat-- I have random scraps of everything saved "just in case I might need it." I can't help it! I'm a crafter, and I've made some pretty cool things from random scraps I've found in my room. I kind of live by the Depression adage "Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without."The problem is, it makes my room very cluttered. Luckily, college puts things in perspective, so I've begun de-cluttering my room!

On another note, I get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Woooooooooooooo. Sigh. If I say anything funny, I will let you know. Most likely, I'll just cry during the various magical girl animes I will be watching while recovering not that I don't already do that I'm so pathetic!

I hope that you all have a wonderful day! Enjoy this fabulous weather!
Love and Sparkles,
Kayla

  2. So, how'd it go? I've been de-cluttering in bits and pieces. I think you would belong to the Victorian era as an educated woman, but I've never thought about you in the Great Depression. You'd probably make a lot of super cute things from stuff other people wouldn't want. New art project? Draw the Mew Mews in the Depression era?
